Blogging Stresses
The True Hair pulling, nail biting aspects of blogging.

Very few will admit it or even talk about it, but it needs to be addressed. Lets face it Blogging is fun but let me tell you it can darn well drive you bunkers if you let it, especially if you are not well grounded. If you want to know what I mean just start a blog and you will see, they will show up sooner than later. Let me just say Blogging is not for the faint of heart and is a true mental challenge both physically, mentally, spiritually and all the other allies combined.I love the art form and will do it weather or not any one reads my articles, but come on we all get a little self conscious when no ones looking at your content and when they do then there is a whole other set of things that come into play. As Bloggers or prospective bloggers, in order not to loose our way you will need to keep certain things in mind the largest of which is :"It happens to the best of us" and just remember its just a phase (Hopefully) .Follow me as I outline the things that will drive you over the edge and down right crazy in blogging. Remember don't let any of  them get to you, instead learn to laugh at them and see how much of the following you can identify with:

The Hair pulling Nail biting Challenges of Blogging:

Blogging Stresses
Why ooh Why?

1. No ones Viewing my articles: That crap can make you very self conscious, did I make too many spelling errors, Was that pic appropriate or should I have gone with another one?. Its all enough to make you just want to quit it and hang up the writing gloves for good. This does happen as you are stuck in writing limbo, you turn out the articles but no one seems interested. Most young Bloggers tend to loose hart and quit. Will you be one of those? Some bloggers start hot and then die down, Some start slow and consistently grow with there audience, which type are you?

2. No comments: OK you see them visit and all of a sudden no one comments, you see them like it, but what do they like ? was your article total garbage?or did you just save a life-for peace sake?.Yes it does happen and guest don't always make comments so you will have to learn to deal with it.They will come just be patient or ask questions that engage your readers and encourages them to comment.
Blogging Stresses
Hmmm...Why is no one commenting??????!!!

Blogging Stresses
A perfect masterpiece or is it?

3.You slave over a hot computer for hours and some guy come along and blows your article out of the water with a messed up comment with no consideration that there is a human being on the other side of the keyboard. Remember that the internet is vast and there are people that will not share your views and on the other hand there are those that will, for apparently nasty comments simply keep an open mind and avoid been drawn into an argument learn to accept and look at things from readers perspective especially those that do not share your point of view, who knows you might learn something or win over a reader.

4.Not Everything Goes: You try to get some pics but you cant use that drawing or that pic or you can't show this or that in your articles and that word is a NO NO!.Yes there are rules and blogging has them as well, after all if we did not have rules chaos would reign and at the end of the day you would like to have a family friendly blog that caters to all readers right? You want readers visiting your blog for your work not for a little skin or some other distraction.

5. What the heck is SEO? I mean talk about darn acronyms, I swear a rocket scientist could not master all the actual principles and everyone is just pretending to fully understand the principles. And I mean if I hear one more of those definitions or watch another YouTube video on this topic I am going to puke. That's what you feel right?, get with the program, spend less time worrying about SEO and more time on creating great content Google will reward you for it and there is nothing wrong with a little reading every now and again to improve your knowledge and be able to reach new readers just take it in manageable strides.

Blogging Stresses
Do not get charged with click Fraud.

6. Do not click Your own ads!! I often go to my bed and wake up with cold sweats, I am dreading the day I finally have the night mare that I accidentally clicked my own adds and Google b@#$h slaps me. No pressure right? We all tend to think this especially in the early stages as we fear we might mistakenly click our ads. Just Ignore them and never ever click your own ads and if you try to you will get caught by Google. Just Install and forget about them, that's what Google intended: you provide the content and they deal with the ad banners and other ad units-simple right?

7. Marketing your own blog: We all try but while you may be the best writer in the world if you do not know the basics of getting your content out there it can really get to you. I think some people are at the point where they are willing to hold some one at gun point and demand: "Read this now!" to get some extra readers of there content, Just be patient and read lots of articles on generating traffic to your blog. For starters you can read our article here on the subject:

Divide your time between writing and marketing

8. Going to Google every second to see if the bots indexed my content? They didn't after a few day and you are thinking crap was it that article I deleted or was it that blog I commented on???. This is a classic Just be calm Google will get there and they crawl different blogs at different rates so stressing over it will literally get you no where. You would be better off reasoning with the bots that crawl your page vs worrying.

9. Making everything a Even set: ooh top 5 or top 10 here is my top 21 you all.Making everything a perfect set can become quite annoying, be different who knows your readers might like you for it.

Blogging Stresses
10.I have been robbed! Some  One copies your content and pretends it is there own, This one will really drive A blogger up the wall, the solution is to kindly ask the person to take down the content or give credit where credit is due. Also you may think of employing more direct actions such as reporting the offender, but there are tools that can be integrated with your blogging platform that will make stealing your content more difficult. Also Google will eventually catch up to the cheaters and give them there just deserts.

11. I have knowledge to share on my area of expertise but no ones coming for help yet they are out there dying- a little over dramatization don't want to get too dramatic with this one.It can be frustrating knowing you have experiences to share and help others but you cannot.Well if you do have the answers join question and answer forums and show off your expertise and in your profile on said website you can leave a link to your blog.Remember to read the rules of these websites about posting links to your website before proceeding.

12. Hows my grammar did I express myself correctly??? Lets face it we all worry that we make mistakes in grammar and spelling, some are pros at grammar while other needs help with the area. This can be a big hair pulling issue for bloggers as they worry if they had made a mistake or did there reader catch the mistakes? Relax unless your readers are Grammar nazis simply try your best to polish your articles as perfect as possible then have a friend look it over for mistakes. The way the brain works its often difficult to see your own mistakes so get a second opinion or third. Most importantly Relax.

13. I hate that stats counter so much that keep showing me how many page views I have , it seems to stay stuck at the worst times when i need a pick me up.Stop watching the stats and see if they don't skyrocket while you are either away or not watching them like a hawk.
Blogging Stresses

14. Annoying Vampirestat and others like it- if you don't know what that is maybe its best you don't know.Have you ever notice some times you may be wondering: why is my blog so popular all of a sudden? and you check your stats and you see referring website as being something like vampirestat or some others like Adsensewatch dog. These websites hit young unsuspecting website allot, so don't be surprise when you are wondering why am I so popular in Timbuktu all of a sudden. If you learn about these websites and there are a few of them don't click on the links in your stats to them, just ignore them after a while when your website is on its feet and getting steady traffic they will fade away, that all you can do for now.

The Vampires are sapping your stats

15. I got turn down by another blog index -yes it does happen even if your content is good, you need to put up there widget, badge or snippet of code. Love blog indexes but why do I have to edit my HTML? why ooh why?.The process of getting into a blog index might be tedious but its well worth the work so get to it and work at them one at a time.

16. I need my own paid domain: OK I am just starting out I don't know if i will like this enough to continue for 10 years or so , I like the flexibility of free services for now-What!!!, you were told that ,so you have to tell everybody that free hosting is bad , what ever happened to training wheels? Do not rush into paid services until you are ready and if you will ever be ready as many websites have started on free domains such as blogger and are doing very well so don't rush chill.

17. I am a crappy blogger: Isn't that the way things are suppose to be I start out bad then become at least acceptable.Stick with it and grow don't let the voices in your head get you down.
Blogging Stresses

18. Pressure of releasing an article a day: they say its suppose to be done that way so why not? heck it worked for them, why not me?, and you are off on the machine that's producing the same old crap. I will do an article now if I feel like it and another later and then take a months holiday if i feel like it. Do blogging at your own pace and time there is no need to rush.

19. Your Articles are too long or too short: yes its is but I really don't care, I am going to make a one line article later. Make your articles as long as they need to be, there is no blog enforcer who will murder you if you make them too long or too short. Also don't be swayed by some of the roomers flying around about what Google likes and what they don't like as most are just that roomers. But seriously though don't do the one liner, your article must be of substance.Long Articles work for some and mot for others experiment in what works best for you.
20. Mines bigger than yours comparisons:Yes stop looking at your rivals stats then sinking into depression that hes getting more traffic, bloated stats do not necessarily mean better quality visitors than yours so do not watch that.
Blogging Stresses
1 Million Visitors to your 1 thousand take that.

Also feel free to identify in the comments which of these and any other you are guilty of, why? its fun to talk about it and a great stress reviler also you will grow as a blogger when you face the big bad problems you have in blogging.
